Throughout history, countless applications and problems have been solved by mathematicians. Some of these problems and applications are very original, while some have been worked repeatedly in different ways by different people. One of the most intriguing things one can study in mathematics is the history of the math itself. There is so much to learn from those who have lived before us. Without the minds of those before us, we would not be where we are today in the field of mathematics. I have chosen some problems that are not only interesting, bust may also help us come to understand and appreciate the methods used in mathematics today.
